The Ripple Effect Training Series

Leveraging your training and development investment properly pays major dividends down the road as you develop your employees into a High Performance Organization, and the best way to do that is to seek out a development program that is designed holistically.

What that means is that each topic builds on and develops the previous topics in ways that reinforce the previous subject matter while laying the foundation for future topics.

This creates what we call the 'Ripple Effect,' where performance improvements in one area lead to improvements in other areas until the total performance improvement is greater than the sum of the individual areas.

For example, the module on Delegating will help the employee apply the concepts learned in Time Managment. The Communications Module helps Delegation to become more effective, while the Goal Setting Module affects Delegation and Time Mastery.

How It Works

TSI offers Ripple Effect Modules in two different ways.

  • On line modules leading to certification in various disciplines
  • Class or Web seminars led by a moderator

The 12 Modules listed below are designed to provide both new and experienced managers with the tools needed to enable them to achieve the highest productivity from their teams. The modules are presented monthly, via web classroom for flexibility. Participants have the choice to physically attend the class or to participate via the Internet. The modules are:

  1. Foundational Skills-these skills are the bedrock that all other skills rest on.
    • TimePeace Time Mastery-minimize wasted time to enjoy increased productivity and job satisfaction. This skill is foundational for a High Performance Organization.
    • Setting Goals-set effective goals that propel your organization forward.
    • Communications-the ability to both speak AND listen accurately is crucial.
    • Human Performance Improvement Fundamentals-Understanding yourself and your employees is the first step towards helping them perform to the highest level.
  2. Leadership Skills-Leaders create the vision for the organization. They are the agents of change. They set the tone.
  3. Management Skills-Managers make things happen. They convert the leader's visions into reality by creating systems and procedures, allocating resources, and directing people.
